Brittney Spencer joins us for this Creator Session. 

Brittney is one of the newest faces on the country music scene. Her journey began unexpectedly after she posted a cover of The Highwomen’s (a super group made up of Maren Morris, Amanda Shires, Brandy Carlise and Natalie Hemby) Crowded Table  and was retweeted by Maren Morris. Later, Morris, while accepting her ACM for Female Artist of the Year, called her out yet again as one of the many Black female artists that need to be celebrated in country music. 

While Morris may have given Brittney a leg up when building her platform, Brittney is making herself unforgettable, sharing music that really connects to peoples spirits. She’s been named one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists to Watch for 2021, and CMT named her one of 2021’s Next Women of Country.

In her Creator Session, Brittney offers some great advice for artists early in their career and left us with this inspiring quote:
